Should the Federal Government change it’s name to “African American and other minorities employment center?”

In FY 2005 Federal employment rose by 2,059 people, but employment of “preferred minorities” rose by 6,238. Employment of white men decreased by 4,179 during the same year.

In relation to their percentage of the population, blacks were vastly over hired in 2005 by:

840% CSOS (Court Services and Offender Services)

427% EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) [Agency that sued Polo and A&F clothing companies for not having enough black models. Can you say Hypocrisy!]

405% PBGC (Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation)
341% SI (Smithsonian Institution)
334% HUD (Dept. of Housing and Urban Development
333% NSF (National Science Foundation)
333% Education (Dept. of Education)
176% Labor (Dept. of Labor)
148% VA (Veterans Administration)
146% Treasury Dept.

Hispanics and Asians were also over hired, but not nearly the extent that blacks were. Black women make up more than double the percentage of the federal workforce than they do the civilian workforce.
