The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is a powerful force in US foreign policy. However, their own website indicates that they are hostile to national sovereignty and seek greater “global governance.”

Moreover, states must be prepared to cede some sovereignty to world bodies if the international system is to function. – CFR website.

AIPAC, the American Israel Political Action Committee is an umbrella organization for the vast Israeli foreign lobby in Washing DC. While many nations (China, India, Saudi Arabia, etc.) have powerful foreign lobbies, the Israeli foreign lobby is by far the largest. AIPAC alone (not counting other Israeli lobbying entities) has given contributions to nearly 2000 US Senators, US House members, and presidential candidates, with some receiving career totals of over a half million. Many argue that this undermines US sovereignty.
