Both the Obama and the McCain campaigns denounced the New Yorker for the magazine’s Barack & Michelle Obama cartoon cover.
The cover shows Obama in the type of Muslim garb he wears when he visits Africa, and Michelle as a 1970’s black radical. Michelle’s thesis paper in college was a call for black racialism and attacked “integrationist” blacks who weren’t loyal to the black race.
