Gallup & Rasmussen both put Obama’s approval rating at 59%, a 9 point decline since being sworn in. Also according to Rasmussen, the percentage of people who “strongly disapprove” of Obama has risen from 14% to 25%, while those who “strongly approve” has fallen to 39% from a high of 45%.

One week after the stimulus bill passed, few Americans actually believe it will do any good.

Thirty-four percent (34%) of U.S. voters now say the plan will help the economy, while 32% believe it will hurt, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey.

Twenty-six percent (26%) say the plan will have little impact on the economy. Eight percent (8%) are undecided.

More Americans believe affirmative action should be eliminated than not.

Thirty-eight percent (38%) of adults say affirmative action is still relevant, but 41% disagree in a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Twenty-one percent (21%) are not sure.
