The BNP won two seats to the European Parliament. England is divided into nine regions where people voted on EU candidates. The BNP got about 9% of the vote in the five northernmost regions. In the four regions along the base of the country, the BNP only polled about 5%. It also polled 5% in Wales. The BNP also gained new councilor seats in northern England as well, and it’s first ever county seat in northern England.

The UKIP came in second place ahead of two major parties and is expected to get at least 12 seats. UKIP is expected to form the core of the euroskeptic/conservative Europeans for a Europe of Nations grouping in the EU.

Results for Northern Ireland and Scotland are not in. Ireland has also not reported it’s results.
