Red Riding Hood gets PC make-over.
Red Riding Hood is a 14th century French Folk tale. The story was of great significance to the French people. Wolf attacks in France were a reality at the time. A version of the tale appears in the Grimm Brothers collection. The Grimm brothers collected folk stories from the Alsace, a German speaking section of modern day France.
A trailer released for Warner Brothers’ Red Riding Hood two months ago only depicted white actors. However a new trailer has been released that shows the medieval French landscape now includes sub-Saharan Africans.
