I had a Dream

by L.R. Olsen

I had a dream last night that I woke up this morning and White people realized it’s time to live out the true meaning of the creed given to them by their forefathers: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.”

I had a dream last night that all White children woke up this morning in a nation where they are no longer judged guilty because of the color of their skin.

I had a dream last night that all White Americans from sea to shining sea joined hands in unity to sit down together at the table of brotherhood and work for our common good instead of fighting against each other.

I had a dream last night that not one White person will be satisfied until our rightful place in the world is regained and we are not longer treated like second class citizens in our own lands.

This is our hope. We have faith that our People, all White People, will work together in unity, pray together with strength, struggle together with courage and stand up for our freedom together, knowing that one day we will be free of our enemies together.
Now is the time to lift our People from the quicksand of injustice forced on us by the enemies of our People. Now is the time to make justice for all White people a reality.

For too long our rights have been subverted, abused and trampled upon in the name of equality. The goal of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness no longer count for our People in the White man’s land.

I had a dream last night that a new and marvelous non-violent militancy had engulfed the White community and they realized that their destiny is tied up with their own People and so they joined together in unity to take back what is rightfully ours.

I had a dream last night, a marvelous, hopeful dream of a wonderful future for my children – and yours.
