Russia's "Ultra-Nationalists" get largest percentage since 93.
The “pan-Slavic” nationalist Liberal Democrat party of Russia received 13% of the vote, their largest total since the post Soviet breakup election in 93. Since the United Russia party will not have 51% of the Parliament, it will have to form a coalition with another party. This means that the Liberal Democrats may be part of the ruling coalition of Russia.
United Russia: 49% (Center-Right party. Similar to the Christian Democrat parties of Northern Europe.)
Communist Party: 20% (Combines Marxist economics with nationalism. Lots of elderly nostalgic for Soviet Union.)
Fair Russia: 13% (Left-wing/Socialist)
Liberal Democrat: 13% (Right-wing/Ultra-Nationalist, pan-Slavic, social conservatives, economic populists.)
