Obama ordered Marines to break protocol because he feared getting slightly wet
Obama ordered the Marines to stand down on Benghazi. However, when hit with a light drizzle, he ordered the Marine Corps to break protocol to keep dry.
Marines are never allowed to hold an umbrella, unless escorting a lady.
