Marissa Alexander story omits major details

The information on the Justice 4 Marissa website appears to be factual. However, many details are omitted. Once all the facts are considered it becomes much more clear why Marissa was convicted.

Marissa left the house and entered the garage. She then came back in with a gun. She then fired at her husband who was standing next to his two sons, aged 9 and 13, from another woman. The trio then fled the house. Alexander had to be drawn out from the house by a SWAT team. While out on bail, Alexander violated a court order and went to the home of Gary. She gave him a black eye.

Alexander was charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a firearm. One for Gary and one each for his three sons. Under Florida law, the minimum prison sentence is twenty years.

At the 16 minute mark, there are audio from two 911 calls from Marissa Alexander’s husband.
