Trayvon Martin supporters riot in Oakland for the second night in a row
First night of rioting in Oakland
Violent masked thugs blocked the intersection of 14th and Broadway for hours. A cameraman for KTVU was attacked by a mob. Employees of the Bay Area News group were also attacked. Reporter Natalie Neysa Alund and photographer Anda Chu reported on twitter that they were attacked, but are ok. At one point Oakland police actual fled the scene, as masked thugs were banging on cars and threatening motorists.
So thankful my colleague @anda_chu is OK. Seeing him attacked made me feel helpless. Angry. Violence is senseless. @insidebayarea

I'm OK, but protestors had our photog on the ground. I tried to get them off him. An #SFgate photog came to the rescue-1 camera is destroyed
