Prosecution rests in hate crime murder of FSU student

The prosecution is expected to rest it’s case today in the trial of Quentin Truehill.

Truehill was part of a group of three black males that escaped from jail in Marksville, La in 2010. Police say they traveled from Louisiana to Florida committing crimes along the way.

Police say when they got to Florida they kidnapped and murdered Vincent Binder, a white FSU student, for the fun out it.

After being sent back to jail, Truehill allegedly bragged about killing Binder.
