African American Family Day at National Zoo ends in gunfire, two shot

“African American Family Day” at the national Zoo ended in violence. Two people were shot.

Most media outlets are censoring the fact that the shooting occurred during an event called “African American Family Day.”

The Washington Post called it “a holiday event,” but didn’t say what the holiday was. Other DC media simply wrote that “family-focused activities” were occurring.

USA Today called it a “family event” at the top of their article, but did print the real name at the bottom of their article.
