Hate crime victim talks about surviving multiple point blank shotgun blasts
In 2007, Ross Capicchioni was a 17 year old from a suburb of Detroit. A black teenager he knew for ten years begged him for a ride to Detroit. When they arrived at their destination in Detroit, the black teen shot him at point blank range with a shotgun three times. He was trying to gain membership in a black street gang by killing a white person.
