Media Blackout: Conviction in racial hate crime murder of NJ teenage girl

Nov. 16, 2013. 18 year old Danielle Michaels befriended Adrian McGee, 17. She bought him a tank of gas.

McGee returned the favor by dragging her into the woods, beating her, raping her, and then stabbing her in the neck and body. She died.

McGee was just convicted and sentenced. However, he was given a light sentence because he was “a juvenile.” He was given “25 to life.” This means he will be eligible for parole in 23 years.

If the races had been reversed, this would be a major national news story right now. Instead it is just another “hush crime.”
