BlackLivesMatter protesters turn violent at St. Louis City Hall

The Board of Alderman held a meeting at St. Louis City Hall to establish a Civilian Review Board for police. The Civilian Review Board is one of several measures enacted by the city to placate the BlackLivesMatter protesters. St. Louis is also hiring over sixty new officers, but only blacks are allowed to apply for the new positions.

St. Louis Police Association President Jeff Roorda spoke at the meeting. He was immediately attacked by the BlackLivesMatter protesters. They screamed racial abused and pushed and shovel Roorda for several minutes.
