Black NE State Senator suggests shooting cops during legislative hearing

“If I was going to carry a weapon, it wouldn’t be against you, it wouldn’t be against these people who come here that I might have a dispute with. Mine would be for the police. And if I carried a gun I’d want to shoot him first and then ask questions later, like they say the cop ought to do.” – Nebraska State Sen. Ernie Chambers

The statements were made during a hearing on fake guns. Chambers wants criminals using fake guns in a robbery to get a free pass on gun enhancement charges. Chambers went on to say that American police terrorize US citizens and kill children and elderly. He said that police have the same mentality as ISIS.

Chambers is the longest serving member of the Nebraska State Senate. He represents a gerrymandered mostly black district. Chambers is notorious for ranting and raving about the white man on the Senate floor. He is also famous for campaigning for the release of two Black Panthers who murdered an Omaha police officer in 1970.
