Umpqua Shooter Admired Vester Flanagan
By Hunter Wallace
It is still way to early to know for certain, but seems that Chris Harper Mercer, the mixed race Umpqua Community College mass shooter in Oregon, was motivated by hatred of Christians. What’s more, it is also clear he admired Roanoke shooter Vester Flanagan II, and he said in chilling blog post, “Seems the more people you kill, the more you are in the limelight:
“According to a student at Umpqua, Mercer demanded to know his victims’ religion before killing them. …
In a blog linked to that identity, Harper-Mercer expressed admiration for Roanoke shooter Vester Flanagan.
People “like him have nothing left to live for,” Harper-Mercer wrote on Aug. 31. “On an interesting note, I have noticed that so many people like him are all alone and unknown, yet when they spill a little blood, the whole world knows who they are… A man who was known by no one, is now known by everyone. His face splashed across every screen, his name across the lips of every person on the planet, all in the course of one day. Seems the more people you kill, the more you’re in the limelight.”
The mainstream media is responsible for putting these mentally ill, narcissistic psychopaths in the limelight. Everyone in the world ends up knowing their story within hours. That’s one of the reasons why there is an endless supply of them. These mass shooters vary in their motivations, but are always reliably framed by the media to fit The Narrative.
Instead of blaming the Confederate flag this time, President Obama has already blamed “gun violence,” which is what he did in Roanoke as well.
