Reparations Now, Reparations Tommorow, and Reparations Forever

By: The Unreconstructed Southerner

The folks who thought that their agitation in Jena would speed up the process of releasing the thugs that beat up Mr. Barker are now fixing to have egg on their face, which will begin to stink of corruption that characterizes so much of the modern “Civil Rights” movement. Come to think of it, this is nothing new.

Martin Luther King regularly consulted with communists and Rosa Parks was trained by Red activists, as Jared Taylor has aptly pointed out. That, however, is not the story we are fed by the Marxist school system or the media. Martin Luther King might as well have been made of Teflon; as one is automatically ostracized from polite society if one dares criticize him or those who surrounded him in the movement. Rosa Parks was pratically deified by the politicians in Washington and given a funeral fit for a Pharoh. As has so often been the story of the 20th Century, it has been the good guys who are villainized while the race hustlers have been accorded ill gotten laurels.

The sad fact is that King and Parks, with their enablers in the halls of power, have conquered opinion of the majority of American public. With schools celebrating Martin Luther King Day, that orgy of white guilt known as Black History Month, and made-up holidays such as Kwaanza and the Juneteenth festivals, Americans are injected with feelings of enmity toward their own country, their own history, and their own people.

The near public lynching of the Duke Lacrosse players and the community of Jena, LA is a testament to the success of decades of Marxist revolution in American society. Men like Governor Lester Maddox, Governor George C. Wallace, and other proud Americans are now labeled as villains more so than men like Mao, Che Gueverra, and Fidel Castro. History has indeed been cruel towards Americans of European descent since the end of World War II and seems poised to be crueler still.

At the beginning of the so called “civil rights” movement, the demand of the agitators was for equal treatment before the law. However it didn’t take long after signing the Civil Rights Bill and the Voting Rights Act (both unconstitutional usurpations of power against the states that formed the federal union) for the true goals to come in sight.

Affirmative action, forced busing, and measures to promote equality of station became the order of the day. Not even the election of a Republican president in 1968, 1972, 1980, 1984, 1988, 2000, and 2004 could break the stranglehold on Middle America. Each year billions and billions of dollars have been poured down the drain as our government engages in social experiments not even the Soviet Union dared attempt. It has been estimated that over 7 trillion dollars have been put into the Great Society and social engineering experiments. To put this in context picture Germany and Japan at the end of World War II. Destitute, bombed out, and bankrupt the two countries were given but a fraction of the amount spend on the Great Society and are now economic powerhouses.

Looking at minority America, however, we see that the situation has instead become worse and worse. Seventy percent of black children are born out of wedlock, nearly half of all Hispanics are illegitimate. Yet we are told repeatedly that we owe minority citizens for what our people have “done” to them. Never mind that Africa doesn’t look any better, never mind that Americans are already taxed 40% of their income, we must pay more. One might say we have been paying reparations already for over 40 years. And don’t look for this situation to end anytime soon. Calls to cut back are met with a torrent of furious resistance and insistent demands for still more. Reparations now and tomorrow.

The fact is that it seems that even with our aid that minority America is not on the path to the golden road of prosperity anytime soon. Instead of attempting to seek community solutions, minorities continue to blame white racism and rally around villains and thugs as they are now doing in Jena, LA. Well, we have long been awake to their schemes and more and more Americans are waking up each day. More and more Americans are seeing that the path to socialism is not one that we are eager to trod upon, even if minority citizens are overwhelmingly in favor of still more socialism. We are tired of pardoning the assaults and murder of our fellow citizens and the Roland Martins, the Al Sharptons, and the Jesse Jacksons of the world pardoning them. According to them, the assailants are not to blame. Society is to blame because their mommies and daddies didn’t take them to the Lakers game enough or buy them the right pair of Air Jordans to match their bling. The fact is that we are not to blame. We pay our taxes, go to work, and build a respectable living for our families. We love God, we love the liberty that He meant for us to have. We shall not in fact pay Reparations Today, Reparations Tomorrow, and Reparations Forever! We stand tall, we stand proud, and we stand in the Council of Conservative Citizens. God Bless.
