Che Guevara's "African Dream" News

The newly released writings on left-wing icon Che Guevara now published in the US.

The socialist icon Che Guevara has adorned the t-shirts of rich, white leftists in the United States for four decades now. Guevara was an Argentina-born “guerrilla fighter” who went to Cuba to help Fidel Castro.

After the successful communist revolution in Cuba, Guevara was responsible for the execution of 700 class enemies.

For two years in the 60’s Guevara went to Zaire and the Congo to organize African communist fighters. In 1967, he returned to South America and began organizing in Bolivia. He was captured and executed.

After 34 years under lock and key, Guevara’s writings on Africa were finally released by the Cuban archive.

Guevara returned from Africa completely dissolutioned¬†by the idea of “Global Socialist Revolution.” He had come to the conclusion that African Negroes were not capable of successful government, much less something as complicated as socialism. In fact Guevara made numerous disparaging comments about the Negro race in general. In one statement he says the black color of their skin could just as easily come from their lack of bathing.

“The Negro is indolent and fanciful, he spends his money on frivolity and drink; the European comes from a tradition of working and saving which follows him to this corner of America and drives him to get ahead.”

“Given the prevailing lack of discipline, it would have been impossible to use Congolese machine-gunners to defend the base from air attack: they did not know how to handle their weapons and did not want to learn.”
