Son murdered, father beaten, media censors.

Two black thugs broke into the home of a family in Queens. A 61 year old cancer stricken father was badly beaten and his 29 year old son was murdered.

This story was reported in all the major NYC papers, plus all the local Queens papers. Police released details on the suspects along with a hotline number.

From LA Times (June 6th, 2007)…

Newspapers came to embrace the idea that such information is irrelevant to the reporting of crimes, and may unfairly stigmatize racial groups.
