Four men arrested for racially motivated gang rape in New Orleans

If the races had been reversed, this would be a national news story with CNN and MSNBC screaming “racially motivated white on black hate crime.”

Four young black thugs have been arrested for the brutal gang rape of a 53 year old white nurse in New Orleans. Police say the thugs sought out to gang rape a white woman as a gang initiation. For at least the past twenty five years, black street gangs have committed racially motivated mob attacks as gang initiations.

Police say more arrests are coming.

Brian Beasley, 21, surrendered to police after investigators secured an arrest warrant for him and three others, based on tips, said Remi Braden, a New Orleans police spokeswoman.

Beasley was booked with armed robbery, aggravated rape and aggravated kidnapping, according to Orleans Parish criminal court records. He was in protective custody and not present for his first hearing but was brought to the courtroom and notified of his bond during a 3 p.m. hearing, according to court records.

The other suspects remained at-large Wednesday. They are Jermaine Rumley, 21; Darren Holmes, 19; and Glenn Elliott, 17. The men are considered armed and dangerous, Braden said.

The victim, a 53-year-old woman, was preparing to visit a patient in the 4100 block of Thalia Street on Thursday when two armed men approached her and tried to rob her, police have said.
