NBC’s David Gregory investigated for illegal ammunition magazine

Violates DC gun laws on national tv while calling for more gun control.

Poetic Justice? An NBC news anchor may be charged with violating Washington DC gun control laws while he was demanding more gun control on tv.

During an anti-gun tirade on Meet the Press, NBC’s David Gregory held up a 30 round magazine. These magazines are banned in Washington DC, where the show was filmed.

DC police say they are considering charging David Gregory with a crime.

Gregory’s gun control tirade backfired in two major ways. First he was exposed as a hypocrite, because he sends his own children to a school that already has armed guards. Second, he demonstrated that his own proposed ban on high capacity magazines would not work. Since it was so easy for Gregory to violate an existing magazine ban himself!
