Students at Camarillo High School were ordered to stop chanting “USA” at a High School football game. Four white students were SUSPENDED for “racial insensitivity” for leading the chant and wearing American flag headbands.
The suspensions were lifted due to a massive public backlash. However, principal Glenn Lipman is defending the ban on patriotism. He says patriotism is racially insensitive.
The school is located in Ventura County, California.
